How is the weather on Kauai?
It's always beautiful..... but really, we have very good weather here on Kauai. Our showers usually
last only a few minutes and then the sun shines again. Now, over the mountains, you will see more
rain and clouds.

Are there linens and towels in the condos?
Yes, all condos provide these items. Guests launder their own towels and sheets if needed unless arrangements are made in advance. There is an extra charge if you wish cleaning or laundering during your stay. Some condos have a washer and dryer.

Are there car rental companies on the island?
Yes, we have all the major rental companies represented. We recommend you reserve a car as soon
as you make your reservation. We can provide a list of companies if needed.

How do I get the keys for the condo?
All condo homes  have an electronic door lock. The code will be sent to you 7 days before your arrival date.  

Is there a laundry facility on the property?
Lae nani has  a large laundromat with new washers and dryers. It is located in the small building on the right as you drive into the condominium complex.  Kauai Kailani has a public laundromat across the street from the condos. Kapaa Shore has a laundromat on property also.

How far is a grocery store?
There is a Safeway supermarket within 1/2 mile of Lae nani and across the street from Kapaa Shore and Kauai Kailani.    Two convenience stores are within a short walk of the condos.  
There is also a local farmer's market right next to the Lae nani condominium at the Coconut Marketplace on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and the Kapaa town park on Wednesday afternoons.

Can you help us with booking vacation activities?
We would be happy to help you with your activity decisions and contact information.
Kauai has SO much to do it would be difficult to decide on you own.
You can skydive, zipline, boogie board, snorkel, surf, learn to kite surf, paddle board, hike, horseback ride, or just relax on our beautiful lawn or beach. We now offer discount luau tickets.

What do we need to do before departure?
Please check around to make sure you have not left anything in drawers, closets or on the beds (kid's sleeping necessities). Place towels in a pile on the bathroom floor. Please place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start it up. Throw out any opened food containers and take the trash to the dumpsters.
Unopened food and drinks can be left in the condo. We will take them to the Food Bank for the less fortunate. Make sure your parking pass and keys are on the kitchen counter. Turn off all lights and the tv.
Close and lock the sliding glass door and the front door.  Have a safe trip home and please return soon.

Are there elevators for the upper floors?
Sorry, there are no elevators at our properties.

Do the condos have air conditioning?
We have cooling breezes off the Pacific Ocean that flow thru the condos.
Some Lae nani condos have bedroom a/c units and Kauai Kailani has a/c in the condo.

Can we smoke in the condo?
All of our condos are non-smoking areas (lanai included). But smoking is allowed at the beach and some designated areas
outside the condos.

Are the beaches safe for swimming?
We recommend caution when entering any body of water (pool, ocean, tidal area). Families are seen enjoying the water at the
Lae nani beach every day.
